Our Mission

Our Spiritual Goal

The most important mission of a church is to present to the world a true image of Jesus Christ so that outsiders can see Christ reflected in the life of the congregation. We show forth Christ through a real love for one another; the kind of love which is willing to share suffering and to accept each other’s failings. It’s the kind of love you can feel when you are among people who have it. It’s infectious and makes people who enter the congregation want to stay and be a part of it. Christian love simply does not happen unless we are centered in our faith, studying the Bible and praying.

Our Traditions

We are a Church of pure Anglican doctrine, and part of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church that honors the doctrines contained in the 39 Articles of Religion (1801)

We teach the Bible and Christian religion as is revealed in the Old and New Testament.

We use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and lessons are read from the King James version of the Bible. Our services are Liturgical and Sacramental, using the Lectionary for the yearly prescribed readings.

We are an Anglican Church which celebrates the Holy Eucharist every Sunday at 12 noon and on the first Sunday of each month and appointed Feast and Holy days at our 10 am service. All other 10 am services we celebrate Morning Prayer.

The primary Sacraments are Holy Baptism and Holy Eucharist. The other Sacraments are Confirmation, Holy Matrimony, Ordination, Reconciliation of Penitent, and Unction of the Sick.

We are congregational in structure and governed by a Vestry elected by the membership. The Rector is an ex officio member of the Vestry.

We welcome all who seek the Truth, and we desire to be living Servants of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Holy Bible, Old and New Testament, to reveal the Word of God.

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existent in three persons of one substance, power and eternity: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of the Father, begotten from everlasting Father and took Man’s nature in the womb of the blessed Virgin. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to power and glory to judge all the people.

We ascribe to the Historic Orthodox Christian Faith as professed in the Apostle’s and Nicene Creeds.

We believe that eternal salvation of the lost and sinful, by the grace of God, is only through the Name of Jesus Christ.

We are justified and accounted righteous before God by Faith only – works being the fruits of our Faith.

We believe that Jesus Christ shall come again, in glory, to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.

We trust in the promise of God’s inestimable love in the redemption of the world by our Lord, Jesus Christ, for the means of grace, and for the hope of glory.
